【摘要】:Thedeterminationofactinideelementsbyalphaspectrometrymeasurementisanessentialpartofmanyenvironmentalresearch,bioassay,andmonitoringprograms.Alphaspectrometrymeasurementsidentifyandquantifythealpha-emittingactinideelements.Avarietyofseparationmethodswilltypicallyprecedetheelectrodepositionofasampleforalphaspectrometrymeasurements.Inadditiontotheelectrodepositionprocedurepresentedinthispractice,thescientificliteraturecontainsotherproceduresforactinideelectrodeposition.Note18212;AnalternatemethodformountingactinidesforalphaspectrometrymeasurementsbycoprecipitationwithneodymiumfluorideisdescribedinPracticeC1163.1.1Thispracticecoversthepreparationofseparatedactinidefractionsforalphaspectrometrymeasurement.Itisapplicabletoanyoftheactinidesthatcanbedissolvedindiluteammoniumsulfatesolution.Examplesofapplicableactinidefractionswouldbethefinalelutionfromanionexchangeseparationorthefinalstripfromasolventextractionseparation.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
