【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofhandfed,shredders/chipperswithintegralpowersourceandwithorwithoutvacuumassistedcollectionwhicharedesignedprimarilytoreduceorganicmaterialtosmallerpieces.Itisonlyapplicabletoshredders/chippersthataredesignedforuseoutdoorsinastationarypositionbyanoperatorstandingontheground.Itappliestoshredders/chipperswithfeedintakeopeningsintheformofasingleopeningoranopeningdividedintoanumberofsegments.Thefeedintakeopeningsorsegmentseachbeingofanyshapethatwillfitintoasquareof250mmx250mmmeasuredattherelevantsafetydistancetothecuttingmeans.NOTEFeedsafetyopeningsarelimitedto250mmx250mmbutthetotalfeedintakeopeningcanbeanysize.Thisstandarddescribesmethodsofeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheuseofshredders/chippers.Inadditionitspecifiesthetypeofinformationtobeprovidedbythemanufactureronsafeworkingpractices.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverrequirementsfor:--unitsdrivenbyanexternalpowersource;--mobileuseofunitswhichcanbeusedinbothstationaryandmobilemodes;--unitswithpowereddischargeintendedtobroadcastmaterialorloadvehicles;--unitswithmechanicallypoweredfeedintakeorattachments;unitswithcuttingmeansofeitheroneormorenon-metallicfilaments,oroneormorenon-metalliccuttingelementspivotallymountedonagenerallycircularcentraldriveunit,wherethesecuttingelementsrelyoncentrifugalforcetoachievecutting,andhaveakineticenergyforeachsinglecuttingmeansoflessthan10J;--electricalaspectsofelectricallydrivenshredders.EnvironmentalhazardsandEMChavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.Thisstandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevantto~1~.shredders/chippers,whentheyareusedasintended(seeclause4).Thisdocumentisnotapplicabletoshredders/chipperswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
